Honestly this era of the internet was a special kind of socially maladapted capital C cancer.
I would say it shocks me that a huge percentage of a generation of people actually want to go back in time to this period, but that would be me feigning ignorance.
I am actually very aware about the fact that a whole gen of people were essentially mind raped and groomed (mentally and physically lol) by their elders, basically fucking them up to the point that that A LOT of them crave this hyper specific 90's-2000's time period ( the same period when they were infested by all of these horrific internet born ideologies and gen x idealisms )
